  THE SATURDAYS singer ROCHELLE HUMES is a first-time mother after giving birth on Monday (20May13).
  The 24 year old welcomed a baby daughter named Alaia-Mai, her first child with husband Marvin Humes of British boyband JLS.
  Proud dad Marvin took to Twitter.com to share the happy news, writing, "This morning we welcomed our baby girl Alaia-Mai Humes... Mum is doing great & baby is amazing! We are both overjoyed! Thanks for your love."
  Humes isn't the first member of The Saturdays to become a mother - Una Healy had a daughter last year (12), and their bandmate Frankie Sandford is currently expecting her first child.
  The girl group tweeted best wishes to the new parents, writing, "Massive congrats (sic) and lots of love to Marvin and Rochelle on the birth of Alaia-Mai! We can't wait to meet our new niece!" while singer Tulisa Contostavlos tweeted, "Congratulations Marvin Humes (and) Rochelle on the birth of Alaia-Mai Humes. Can't wait to meet her! Proud of you both. Love always."

  Rocker KEN WHALEY has died at the age of 66.
  The star, best known as the bassist for Welsh band Man, passed away on 8 May (13). News of his death emerged last week (15May13) after it was confirmed by editors of a local British newspaper Whaley worked for.
  He was in the psychedelic blues group Man for just two years, but during this time he recorded the band's best-selling album, 1974's Rhinos, Winos and Lunatics. He was also a founding member of the British acts Help Yourself and Ducks Deluxe, and briefly toured with Hawkwind in the 1970s.
  Whaley had a second career in journalism at London's Islington Gazette, where he was a sub-editor until 1992, and he continued to play with The Green Ray until last year (12), when he stepped out of the spotlight due to lung cancer.
  His former manager John Eichler has paid tribute to the star, insisting: "I always felt he was a man out of time; his sensibilities were from an earlier age. He was a truly gentle man.   Rockers BUSH have pulled out of performing at a festival in Germany next month (Jun13) to record new material.
  The band was due to play at the Rock am Ring event, but they have cancelled the slot, as well as a promotional trip to Russia's capital Moscow, because of a mix-up with their schedule.
  A series of posts on the group's Twitter.com page reads, "Due to a recording schedule conflict, we will regrettably be unable to perform at (at) rockamring (sic)... next month. But we look forward to returning to Germany w/ (with) new music as soon as we can.
